Folk favourite comes to Playhouse

Alasdair Roberts makes his first Nottingham appearance in over four years when he plays in the Neville Studio at the Playhouse on Friday, August 28.

The gig by the acclaimed Scottish singer/songwriter gets under way at 8pm.

Alasdair has spent the best part of 20 years ploughing a highly idiosyncratic path through folk music. His latest, self-titled album sees him paring back his sound to focus on his elliptical lyrics, haunting voice and fingerstyle acoustic guitar playing and should be ideally suited to this intimate solo gig. Support comes from Dearest and Fains.

Tickets are £8. Book now on 0115 9895555.
