Jackson returns for NSO’s concert

The final concert of Nottingham Symphony Orchestra’s 2014-2015 season takes place at the city’s Albert Hall on Saturday, July 11.

Conducted by Derek Williams, the concert starts at 7.30pm, and features performances of a quartet of attractive pieces, starting with Weber’s tuneful Euryanthe Overture.

The first half continues with Wagner’s Forest Murmurs, Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, featuring returning soloist Martyn Jackson, before the second half is given over to the First Symphony of Johannes Brahms.
