Masque searching for male performers

Following on from their smash hit productions of ‘Whistle down the Wind’ and ‘Calendar Girls’, Masque Productions’ next show will be the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice classic musical ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’.

This will be performed at Mansfield Palace Theatre in November 2014 and Masque is looking for male actor/singers aged 16-plus to be part of this amazing show by joining one of the leading amateur theatrical groups in the East Midlands.

Jesus Christ Superstar is an enthralling and impassioned Rock Opera based loosely on events leading up to the crucifixion.

Told from the point of view of Judas Iscariot, it features some of the most critically acclaimed music and lyrics ever written for the stage, including the songs ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him’, ‘Herod’s Song’, ‘Gethsemane, ‘Heaven on their Minds’ and of course the extremely well-known ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’.
