Pair of speakers at historical society
Blidworth and District Historical & Heritage Society latest meeting takes place on Tuesday, April 7.
Andy Gaunt will be speaking on the medieval archaeology of Clipstone and Sherwood Forest. Andy acted as guide to Tony Robinson on his Walking through History TV programme featuring Sherwood Forest.
Alan Higgins will then give a presentation on the Framework Knitters of Blidworth and District.
As usual, the meeting will be in the Function Room of Blidworth Welfare, Mansfield Road, Blidworth. Meetings start at 7pm. There is normally a charge of £2.
