Pye Hill MVC in fine voice

Christ Church, Ironville, is the setting on Saturday, July 4, for a concert by the Pye Hill and District Male Voice Choir, with special guests Quorus, starting at 7.30pm.

Quorus are an a cappella quintet based in Nottingham with a growing reputation and following which will add contrast of style and musical content to the choir’s programme.

The concert will include pieces such as Love Changes Everything, Jamaica Farewell, You’ll Never Walk Alone, I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles, This Little Light of Mine, A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, Softly as I Leave You, Amazing Grace and Irish Blessing.

The concert promises to be a full and exciting evening and tickets are available from the church, or Frank Kenny on 01773 748127 at £5. Alternatively, you can pay £6 on the door on the evening.
