Sleeping Beauty launches panto season in Nottinghamshire

It’s panto time - oh yes it is - and the stars are polishing up their patter and jokes ready for some sparkling spectaculars.

Mansfield Palace Theatre welcomes Vicky Entwhistle, best known as Janet Battersby in Coronation Street, and Milkshake presenter Amy Roberts as the big names in Sleeping Beauty.

Vicky plays the bad fairy and Amy is cast as Princess Briar Rose in the panto which runs from Saturday, November 29, to January 4.

Nottingham Playhouse is also staging Sleeping Beauty, which opens on Friday, November 28, until January 17.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be staged by the Majestic Theatre School at the Majestic Theatre, Retford, this Sunday.
