Spring concert for Somercotes choir
Somercotes Choral Society, which performs two major concerts a year, is presenting its spring concert Music from the Big Screen at Alfreton Grange Arts College on April 25. The concert starts at 7pm.
Their guest artist is Brett Wales, who started playing when he was three and has established himself as one of the UK’s most popular organ and keyboard entertainers.
The choir is busy rehearsing each Tuesday evening at Swanwick Sports College and new members are very welcome. Tickets cost £7 (under 16s £4) and are available on 07905 242 750.
