Talented pair to play at Duffield recital

The Music at Duffield season continues on Saturday, January 24, with a Bemrose Bursary Recital featuring James Hendry (piano) and Amy Yule (flute).

The performance takes place from 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm) in the main hall at The Ecclesbourne School, Duffield.

The programme will feature works by JS Bach, Brahms, Poulenc, Brahms, Gaubert, Schubert, Rachmaninov, Lizst and Saint-Saens.

James Hendry is currently in his fourth year at the Royal Northern College of Music. Before joining the RNCM, he was a founding member of Yorkshire Young Musicians, a programme offering expert training to advanced young musicians.

Amy Yule is in her second year of study at the RNCM. As a soloist, Amy has won several awards including the Norman Trotman Competition, the RNCM Ken Griffin Flute Prize and sponsorship from the EMI Music Sound Foundation and the Craxton Memorial Trust.

Ticket prices are £13 for adults, £12 for concessions and £6 for students.
