The Diamond to host comedy night

A brand new comedy night is being launched in Sutton by a company known for hosting successful shows all over the country.

Funhouse Comedy Club is bringing comedy’s answer to the X Factor to The Diamond, on Stoney Street, on Sunday 5th January.

Its ‘Should I Stay or Should I Go?’ competition sees 15 new comics take to the stage and try to win over the audience and become champion on the night.

A great night of fun and laughter is guaranteed, with audience members becoming the judges and deciding who is crowned the winner. If they decide the acts should go, then it’s goodbye, but if they decide the acts should stay, the survivors get another chance to be crowned champion.

Previous acts to have played Funhouse clubs on their road to fame and fortune include Sarah Millican, Russell Kane, Jack Whitehall and Rhod Gilbert.

The energetic host and compere for the evening will be Spiky Mike.

Tickets are £5 and available at www.funhousecomedy.co.uk. Doors open at 7pm.
