The Fillers were formed in late 2006 in the era of Sam’s Town, around the small town of Bury St.Edmunds.

Based in a country where The Killers gained their first major taste of fame, The Fillers capture the sound look and feel of the Vegas quartet, performing tracks from the albums Hot Fuss, Sam’s Town, Sawdust and Day & Age.

The band have received the ultimate in recognition when they were given a glowing review by Ronnie Vannucci Jr of The Killers, who also joined The Fillers on drums for a guest spot and subsequently treated The Fillers to an all access experience at The Killers’ Radio 1 showcase at The Royal Albert Hall (as documented in the N.M.E).

Playing as far afield as the Dominican Republic filling in for The Killers, the band have played to audiences of up to 30,000 people on stages that have held the real thing and continue to expand as The Killers establish themselves as one of the world’s biggest bands.

Then on Saturday, May 9, there’s more tribute fun with The Four Fighters and their musical homage to Foo Fighters.

This band was formed in 2003 by Foo Fighters Fans for Foo Fighters fans.

Four vastly experienced musicians came together for this project with a passion to recreate the sound of the now legendary Dave Grohl-fronted American supergroup.

Four Fighters can be found playing the most prestigious venues the length and breadth of the UK.

Add to that regular multiple appearances at all of the biggest tribute festivals in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe and you could argue that this is the world’s ultimate Foo Fighters tribute band.

Four Fighters’ live shows are explosive events and the band go to every effort to reproduce the raw power and dynamics of the original band.

All of the Foo Fighters’ studio albums, from their eponymous debut to the much-acclaimed Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace and the 2011 release Wasting Light are represented and given the live treatment by this band.

They perform the songs with an energy and passion that only true fans could and perform them in the same way you would see and hear them at a Foo Fighters live show.

Crowd favourites like This Is A Call, Stacked Actors, Learn To Fly, Everlong, The Pretender, All My Life, Best Of You, Rope, etc, etc are mainstays of the Four Fighters’ setlist.

Doors open for both gigs at 8pm.

Admission is £10 The Fillers and £8 for The Four Fighters.

Advance tickets are available from The Flowerpot and RAW Promotions as well as online at www.rawpromo.co.uk
