WhiteMoor in album launch gig

Local band WhiteMoor are holding an album release event at The Victoria Inn in Derby on Saturday, July 25.

The five-piece group, featuring members from Belper and Ripley, among other locations, will be playing the gig to mark the release that day of new album Pause and Effect.

WhiteMoor were formed back in 2010 by Barrington Mole (guitars, backing vocals), who enlisted the services of Benny Ryan (lead vocals). Luke Inglis (Bass), Tom Scribbins (Drums) and Louise Tomlinson (Keys, Backing Vocals) completed the line up in 2012.

Their previous albums and singles have brought acclaim and support on both a local and national level, including plenty of airplay.

The band is signed to Belper-based Sound-Hub Records and the album was recorded at the label’s own studios in the town.

The new album is a bit of a step into heavier territory for Whitemoor and you can pre-order it here at http://sound-hub.com/whitemoor

Also on the bill at the event at the Midland Place-based venue will be The Mocking Jays, a four-piece alternative/pop-rock band from Long Eaton/Castle Donington. They have since made the city of Nottingham their home.
