She plays at the Winding Wheel on May 26, where she will treat fans to excerpts from her 42-year career.
On her website, Joan comments: “I will never retire but this will be the last major tour that I will undertake.
“For the first time these concerts will be me solo on stage playing the guitar and singing. I want these concerts to be a special lively interactive one to one experience.
“I have absolutely enjoyed the last 42 years of performance but now, with my final major tour, I want to capture a unique memory for both myself and the audience.”
The three-times Grammy nominee, Brit award nominee and Ivor Novello winner is best known for hits such as Love and Affection, Drop The Pilot, Me, Myself, I and Willow.
Joan was the first female UK artist to be nominated for a Grammy in the blues category and the first female UK artist to debut at number one in the Billboard blues chart. She was presented with a lifetime achievement award at the British Folk Festival in 2012.
