The pubs, schools and other places that have had to shut or undergo a deep clean because of Covid-19 in South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire

As the coronavirus crisis has developed, one of the most effective methods of reducing transmission and avoiding further cases in the community has been to carry out deep cleaning at pubs, schools, workplaces and other sites – which sometimes has involved shutting premises temporarily.

Across South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire numerous places have put safety first in this way, reassuring the public that they are doing the right thing by preventing further exposure to Covid-19.

This roll call of locations serves to underline the scale of the pandemic so far and how extensively it has affected day-to-day life.
