The new site, at Rolls Royce Leisure, opened last weekend and those that have already had their jabs there all agree that the site is being run expertly and staff and volunteers there are doing a great job.

Jane Porter took to the Hucknall People’s Community Facebook page to express her gratitude after her dad went to the site for his jab.

She posted: “Well Hucknall, give yourselves a big pat on the back.

"I have just taken my dad to Rolls Royce for his vaccination, from pulling up in the car park where a lovely chap came and helped me with dad in his wheelchair, the whole process was absolutely faultless.

"Dad’s appointment was for 1.05pm, we arrived five minutes nearly but were processed as soon as we arrived and we were back in the car at 1:06.

"Both dad and I can’t thank you enough.”

And the stream of comments that followed the initial post, revealed plenty of other people were also impressed with how their appointments had gone.

Kezza Tagz wrote: “Just had mine at the Rolls Royce in Hucknall. Very well organised.”

Vinnie Cooper posted: “Had mine at 1.15pm today. Great set up.”

Michelle Saxton put: “I went this morning. Really well organised. Very impressed.”

Vanessa Briggs wrote: “Me and my partner went today and was a very swift service. Many thanks.”

Paula Oakes said: “Me and hubby went at 10.30am really impressed as it was the first day well organised very friendly people.”

And Rita Hodgman commented: “Nice when you get to meet good people and thank them.”

Some also took the opportunity to post replies to volunteer Kathryn Marshall’s comment saying how smoothly the first morning at the new site had gone.

Dave Porter wrote: “Thank you and to all the kind volunteers who give their time free for others.”

Pat Percival posted the comment reply: “Well done, thank you.”

And post author Jane Porter said: “Kathryn Marshall, pass on our thanks to everyone please.”
