Satisfaction is top priority

Stoneacre, who have been an expanding business in the town for the past 10 years, has announced a new senior team.

Regional manager Wayne Hazlewood joined the Turner Road garage last month, having amassed more than 20 years of experience in the motor trade.

“We want to put more emphasis on customer care, satisfaction and retainment, ” he said.

“In the first instance, we want to do this by looking after people and making sure they have a pleasurable experience.”

“We want to be there for them during their ownership of the car and if we do all those things then maybe they’ll come back to us.”

He has been with the company for almost a decade, having worked in Hyde, Rochdale and Lincoln.

The dealership work exclusively with Fiat and Hyundai, which Wayne said is an advantage to customers.

“We have full sales and parts facilities here, Stoneacre has 12 Fiat outlets, we are one of the biggest Fiat networks in the country.”

“That does give us a certain amount of privileges for deals, ” he added.

Stoneacre is one of the country’s fastest growing motor groups. The company was first incorporated on the 21st December 1994 and started off as a used vehicle retail operation in Scunthorpe in May 1995.

Since its beginnings as a used car dealership Stoneacre has grown to offer 10 new car manufacturer franchises from 25 locations across the country.

“It’s a very sustainable company,” said Wayne.

“We have 25 branches nationwide, so you can be safe in the knowledge that if you come to us we will do our very best to attend to your every request.”

The Worksop branch employs around 40 people and the new boss said his staff were ready to listen and advise around the customer’s needs.

“I know buying a new car can be daunting, but our staff are here to help you, ” he added.
