Rippon Homes provides a helping hand to first-time buyers

Buyers looking for an affordable route into home ownership can get a helping hand from Rippon Homes.

That’s because the Mansfield Woodhouse house builder is now offering the Government-backed Help to Buy on all of its developments in Nottinghamshire.

It is offering the new scheme on all three and four-bedroom homes at Debdale Rise, Baums Lane and Heathside Gardens in Mansfield, Portland Place in Mansfield Woodhouse, Sherwood Gardens in Forest Town and The Hawthorns in Bilsthorpe.

With Help to Buy, home buyers can secure a home with a five per cent deposit and 75 per cent mortgage, while the Government will step in to provide a 20 per cent equity loan.

John Jones, managing director, said: “I’ve worked in the house building industry for many years and this is one of the best initiatives I’ve ever seen for helping every type of home buyer and we are encouraging people to find out more about this great opportunity.”

Help to Buy is available on newly built properties priced up to £600,000.

Added Mr Jones: “I would urge anyone thinking about buying a home to visit the sales office at their preferred development, where our experienced and knowledgeable Sales Advisers will be able to talk you through how the scheme works, whether you’re eligible and answer any questions you may have.”

Prices start from £109,950.
