17-year-old charged after a man suffered a serious head injury in Bulwell

A 17-year-old who was carrying a bladed article has been charged after a fight outside of a Bulwell pub where a man was left with serious injuries.

Police were called to the Top House pub, on Bardney Drive at around 6.30pm on Sunday, June 24.

A police spokesman said: "The 17-year-old was arrested at the scene and has been subsequently charged with grievous bodily harm, two counts of common assault and possession of a bladed article."

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Crown Court on a date yet to be arranged.
