THREE people charged in connection with the theft of £10,000 worth of lead from Newstead Abbey will have their case heard at Nottingham Crown Court.
Gurshoron Singh Bhattie (30), of Cornerpin Drive, Kirby-in-Ashfield, is charged with the theft of lead drainpipes and handling stolen goods.
Emma Foy (30), also of Cornerpin Drive, and Frances McShane (24), of Millbank Place, Bestwood Village, are charged with handling stolen goods.
All three appeared at Mansfield Magistrates Court but have not entered pleas. They are due to return to the same court on Friday June 29 when the case is expected to be committed to Nottingham Crown Court.
