Hucknall Library and New College Nottingham (NCN) have teamed up to deliver a diverse programme of training courses for the local community.

The first course “Food Safety Awareness” on Friday 23rd January, 9.30am to 4.30pm, is aimed at those who are interested in working in the food and catering industry and gaining a recognised qualification.

Also on offer on Monday 26th January 9.30am to 4.30pm is the chance to gain a level 2 CIEH certificate in health and safety at Work.

These courses are a great opportunity to up-date your current knowledge and include on your CV to show prospective employers your skills and abilities.

Future short courses in February include an introduction to English for anyone who finds tasks such as filling in forms difficult. In March an introduction to adult numeracy is on offer for anyone who wants to improve their confidence with numbers.
