A 49-YEAR-old Hucknall man accused of affray and having a knife has had the charges against him dropped.

Daryl Mills, of Almond Close, attended Nottingham Crown Court in August with the aid of crutches. He pleaded not guilty to charges of affray on Saturday February 19 and having an offensive weapon on Broomhill Road, Hucknall.

Lorraine Fox (prosecuting), offered no evidence, so Judge Jeremy Lea entered formal not-guilty verdicts.
