ALFRETON: Man hit in High Street attack

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Alfreton where a man was hit in the face.

The incident happened at around 11.10am of Friday 27th June in High Street, a Derbyshire Police spokesman said.

The victim was walking near to the Bon Marche clothes shop when he was approached by a man who struck him in the face, resulting in the victim needing hospital treatment to his eye.
