The incident happened this morning, Friday, May 20 around 8.20am northbound on the A611 Annesley Road bypass, between Hucknall and the A608.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: “There were two minor collisions which happened at the same place and at the same time.

This has caused a blockage of traffic which is being managed by police.

“The vehicles involved in one collision were an Audi and a Peugeot and the other collision was between another Peugeot and an unknown vehicle but it is not believed to be a hit and run and the driver exchanged details before leaving.

“The road will be blocked temporarily to allow recovery to take place.”

Although the ambulance service was on the scene the police said no one suffered serious injuries.
