Appeal after teen cyclist knocked off bike

POLICE are appealing for a motorist to come forward after a teenager was knocked off his bike in a collision with a car.

The 15-year-old boy was cycling along Nabbs Lane in Hucknall when the accident happened on Saturday March 10 just before 9 am.

He was at the mini-roundabout near to the Co-op when he was clipped by a grey or dark-coloured Vauxhall and knocked to the ground.

He was not injured but the car did not stop after the collision and police say that the driver may not have realised what had happened.

Officers would also like to speak to a woman who stopped to check the boy was uninjured.

They are appealing for both to come forward and contact them on 101.
