Appeal: Notts Police appeal for witnesses after shop robbery

Notts Police were called just before 6.20am following the incident at Slacks News at the Rosemary Centre in Walkden Street.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen two men, believed to be in their late teens, acting suspiciously in the area shortly before the incident.

The men threatened a member of staff before leaving the premises with a quantity of cigarettes in the direction of Union Street.

A police cordon remains in place at the scene whilst investigations continue.
