Ashfield MP is quizzed by youngsters
Ashfield MP Gloria De Piero had been put through her paces by enthusiastic students from Ashfield School.
Almost 20 Year 7 pupils quizzed the Labour MP and shadow women and equalities minister on a variety of topics as part of their work looking at the parliamentary system.
Gloria said, “The youngsters were a breath of fresh air and they have the talent and the confidence to go all the way to the top of whatever they chose to do.
“ Their teachers and parents deserve an awful lot of credit and it makes me so proud to be the local MP when you come into schools and meet such great kids.”
