Ashfield voluntary workers to be given a special treat
Voluntary workers in the Ashfield area are to be given a special treat as a ‘thank you’ for the work they have done over the past year.
The AVA (Ashfield Voluntary Action) and ACDG (Ashfield Community Development Group) are planning the afternoon at the Festival Hall on Kirkby’s Hodgkinson Road on 28th October and are calling on businesses to donate prizes for a raffle.
The voluntary workers will be able to enjoy various treats for their tireless efforts, such as an Indian head massage.
However, they need to book their place in advance by phoning the AVA on 01623 555551.
