Once all the formalities were over, the company was dismissed to go about their activities.

“We had a demonstration of camp cooking by some members to test the new camping equipment which had been bought with money raised by a Sports Quiz we held earlier in the year,” explained Sheila. “We were then all treated to hand-made burgers from their efforts.

“The younger members then demonstrated to us a game of agility whilst there was a film showing in the church of last year’s annual camp.”

The company was then called back into the Main Hall where Ken and Sheila presented the awards, which included four special medals on behalf of HTRG, to the company members who had achieved an outstanding level during the past year.
