A BANNED motorist from Hucknall who was more than three times over the drink-drive limit has been given a suspended prison-sentence.
Jennifer Venables (31), of St Mary’s Way, pleaded guilty at Nottingham Magistrates Court to drink-driving and driving while disqualified on Washdyke Lane in the town on Saturday February 18.
Her breathalyser reading was 108 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Venables was given 12-week concurrent sentences for each offence, suspended for a year. She was also handed a 12-month supervision order, which includes a two-week drink-impaired drivers’ programme, banned from driving for 42 weeks and ordered to pay £85 costs. She received no separate penalty for breaching a six-month conditional discharge.
