The National CofE Academy in Hucknall is celebrating it's best A-level results to date.
Students at the National Church of England Academy in Hucknall were celebrating this morning as they received their A-Level grades, with the best ever set of results for the Academy. Students’ hard work has really paid off, said staff, as 55 per cent of students eared A*- B grades, 78 per cent receiving A* - C, and 100 per cent of the year group passing with at least an E in all subjects.
Kelly Wall, Head of Sixth Form, said: “It has been a fabulous year and it’s great to see the students receive the results that their hard work deserves. They’re overjoyed that they’re now set to make the next move to good universities or great employment opportunities, and having seen them develop.
"I am extremely proud of how far they have come. With our sixth form due to move into the new Hucknall Sixth Form Centre in September, our staff are excited how this will benefit our new and current students as they work towards their qualifications and achieve great outcomes.”
Executive Principal Simon Jones, was present to share in the celebrations, and was effusive in his praise: “I am delighted with the outstanding results, yet I am not surprised. We enjoy an atmosphere in which students constantly strive for their best and are inspired by excellent teaching."
