BID scheme cuts bills for Mansfeld firms

The BID has teamed up with BCR Associates, experts in reducing business costs, to provide a service that looks at how companies can cut their electricity and gas bills.

The Mansfield Building Society is one of the first to take advantage of the scheme and has seen it identify savings just under £5,000 against their electricity renewal quote and the potential to reduce gas bills by a further £445 (25 per cent).

Sarah Nelson, BID manager, said: “Being part of the BID has already seen many businesses benefit, and this is yet another example of the BID being able to provide value to levy payers.

“The cost reduction scheme is already paying dividends for businesses large and small, and we’re delighted that we have been able to help The Mansfield Building Society save such an amount of money.”
