Bikers join Easter Egg Run fo kids

IT WAS no YOLK when bikers from across the Dispatch district joined the annual Nottinghamshire Motorcyclists Easter Egg Run in aid of disadvantaged children.

Hundreds of riders took part in the convoy from The Forest Recreation Ground in Nottingham to Mansfield fire station.

The bikers took with them Easter eggs that will be distributed by firefighters to SureStart centres, children’s homes, youngsters with special needs and those living with foster parents.

Some also donated cash, which last year helped to send one terminally-ill youngster to meet Santa Claus during the annual trip to Lapland organised by the charity, When You Wish Upon A Star.
