Bill Purdue’s travel news: Longer opening hours for trent barton enquiries

From January the trent barton enquiry office has been offering an extended enquiry service.

The enquiry number 01773 712265 is now available not only on Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 7 pm, but also on Saturdays from 9am to 4pm and on Sundays from 9am to 1pm.

They have also increased the number of people staffing the phone lines at the busiest times.

Trent barton also say that the coverage on Facebook and Twitter is now much better.

For a limited period, trent barton passengers can use their zig zag tickets on night services until 4am.

Zig Zag tickets cost £5 (or £9 for a group of up to 5 people travelling together) and allow unlimited travel on trent barton buses from 9am.

Zig zag tickets can be purchased from the driver but can not be used on the pronto service

From 27th January, the fares on Stagecoach East Midland pronto journeys have been revised, but there is no change to their Megarider and Dayrider tickets.

Also from this week the Hucknall Connect green route (trent barton) has a small change to its route in Beauvale to run direct along Common Road.
