Boozy driver confused by Worksop roadworks
James Mee drove his Vauxhall Combo van into a coned-off area and overtook a road-roller on Potter Street, just before 10pm, on March 12.
Police noticed his driving and a breath test revealed he had 80 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, when the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Hide AdMee, 36, of Lincoln Street, admitted drink driving at Mansfield Magistrates Court, on Thursday.
David Verity, mitigating, said: “He got slightly confused by the road lay-out and that attracted police.
“He drank three pints in the Liquorice Gardens over a two hour period, without eating anything. It is out of character for him.”
He said Mee had given up his job as an agency driver, but had since found work at a warehouse.
Mee was banned for 20 months and fined £290, with court costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge.
