Police have charged a Mansfield woman with murder
It follows the death of Emiel Blankert, 48, who died on Friday (13 December) having been admitted to hospital four days earlier.
A Home Office post-mortem examination confirmed he suffered serious injuries as a result of a sustained assault to the body.
Michelle Swift, 48, of Ladybrook Place, Mansfield, has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, December 18
