A brave skydiver from Morrisons in Bulwell has raised more than £600 for the Sue Ryder charity by taking on a tandem parachute jump from 14,000 ft.

Tracey Neale, who works at the store at Springfield Park, completed the challenge at Langar Airfield,Nottinghamshire, in support of the health and social care charity, which is Morrisons’ national charity partner.

Tracey said: “It was a brilliant experience, there are no other words to describe it.

“I’ve enjoyed raising money for Sue Ryder and I’d like to thank all my friends, family and colleagues at Morrisons Bulwell for their support.”

A spokesman for Morrisons and Sue Ryder said that money raised through the Morrisons Raise a Smile initiative goes towards funding new community services, family support teams and an online support community, “providing the best possible care to people at the end of their lives and support for their families”.
