Easter is a time for reflection, bank holidays and chocolate so what better time to take advantage of a FREE chocolate ice-cream sundae courtesy of Choccycocochic and the Chad.

Your favourite newspaper has joined forces with Ransom Wood based business Choccycocochic and owner Karen Ball to offer our lucky readers the chance to enjoy an ice-cream treat with chocolate topping worth 99p for FREE.

Earlier this year, Karen moved the business she launched in May 2012 to Ash House at Ransom Wood off Southwell Road, after initially hosting home-based chocolate making parties and courses in the Nottinghamshire area.

It follows the opening of a shop in Carr Bank Stables, Mansfield, selling chocolate products, gifts and equipment, as well as running a range of fun courses for both adults and children from the tea rooms in the same building.

High demand forced Karen to move to larger premises enabling the business to expand to host courses, parties and workshops at any time, as well as offering a selection of drinks and treats in the bistro together with selling their popular chocolate making equipment and themed gifts.

“Our parties enable guests to be creative with chocolate and make their own unique choccy treats,” said Karen. “You get to sample lots of chocolate and take home a goodie bag as well as your own creations.”

Parties can be themed for any occasion, such as hen parties, baby showers, birthdays and seasonal celebrations. The parties create a perfect opportunity for both family and friends to enjoy a fun choccy morning, afternoon or evening.

“Chocolate making can be fantastic fun without being messy,” added Karen. “It is also very easy to make your own choccy items that taste absolutely delicious. Everything you will need is provided, including aprons and a table cover.”

On Saturday 19th April a special Easter event will be held where youngsters can make their own goodies, take part in an Easter egg hunt and have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. The event costs £10 per child but places must be booked before noon Thursday.

You have a month to claim your free ice-cream so cut out the voucher and take along to Choccycocochic at Ash House, Ransom Wood, Mansfield. Drop in opening times are Tuesday 10.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 10.30am to 6.30pm
