Cash gift for pain relieving equipment

Pub Landlady, Diane Wharmby, of the Rifle Volunteer, Skegby, is pictured, right, alongside Julie ward, presenting a cheque for £802.00 to Marion Bates, trustee at the John Eastwood Hospice.

The cheque was gratefully received in memory of Julie’s late Husband, Jeffrey Ward, who died at the Hospice.

It is hoped the money will be used to buy a syringe driver - used for pain management.

The cash was raised from donations at Jeffrey’s funeral and various fundraising at the Rifle Volunteer.
