Pick up a copy of this week’s Ashfield Chad and grab a handful of colourful Krazy Looms in our fantastic buy-one-get-one-free offer.
Business is ‘looming’ for a family-run business in Sutton as they struggle to keep up with demand for a new craze which has captured the imagination of British kids.
Andy Gilbert, manager of Glitz, which sells ladies accessories in the Idlewells Shopping Centre, said: “Crazy looms have gone mad, and we can’t keep up with demand!
“We put a small competition on our Facebook page and thought we might be lucky enough to get a few more likes on our page.
“We couldn’t believe it when we had over 60,000 hits in four days.
“We offer a massive range of loom bands - everything from glow in the dark to scented to colour changing.”
You can pick up 200 looms for £1, 300 looms for £1.50 and 600 looms for £3.
And now The Chad has teamed up with Glitz to offer a fantastic buy one - get one free offer.
Pick up a copy of this week’s Ashfield Chad, take it to the Glitz outlet in Idlewells ,and whatever you buy will be matched.
The offer will run for the next two weeks, or until stocks run out.
It appears that Britain has gone loom crazy and it’s all since the Duchess of Cambridge was seen wearing one during the royal tour.
In fact sales of loom bands have rocketed by more than 300 per cent and they’re now as much a fashion statement as they are a children’s fad.
Why not send us pictures of your loom designs and we’ll publish the best ones.
Andy runs the business with brother Darren.
It was founded two years ago and has outlets in the McArthurGlen shopping centre in Pinxton, and the Westfield Centre in Derby.
