Charity flower festival at Holme Pierrepont Hall will raise funds for Rainbows

The Brakenbury family will open their family home at the Tudor Manor House, Holme Pierrepont Hall, Nottingham, especially for an event on Saturday, July 2, and Sunday, July 3, from 11am to 4pm.

Set in 30 acres of tranquil gardens and parkland, this historical building will be a wonderful venue for the two day Flower Festival, featuring arrangements of locally grown British seasonal flowers throughout the Hall and gardens.

On Saturday there will be flower arranging demonstrations, a special storytelling chair in the decorated children`s story area in the beautiful gardens, alongside a display of Classic Austin cars.

On Sunday only the specialist Flower Power plant fair will be present in the grounds as an added attraction, for serious plant enthusiasts and keen gardeners to meet up with UK growers and nurserymen. Giving them the opportunity to buy the latest in plants and shrubs.

Nearby St Edmunds Church will be serving tea and delicious cakes throughout the weekend.

The event will also be fundraising for the children`s hospice charity Rainbows. Tickets are £7.50 in advance or £8 on the door.
