Child porn man is sentenced

A Kirkby man who admitted possessing and distributing indecent images of children has been given a suspended sentence.

Samuel Nunn, 20 of Central Avenue, appeared at Birmingham Crown Court on Tuesday, where he pleaded guilty to 3 charges of possessing indecent images of children and two charges of distributing indecent images of children.

He was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment suspended for two years.

In addition the judge imposed a sexual offences prevention order and a two year community rehabilitation order.

Nunn will do 20 days unpaid work and was ordered to complete an approved Internet offenders course.

He must pay £630 costs.

Nunn initially appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on December 11 where he pleaded guilty to the offences.

On June 25 2015 at Lytham Road in Kirkby he had in his possession 14 indecent images of children of category C.

Nunn admitted possessing a category C image of a child on June 6 and another indecent photograph on June 11. He also admitted distributing indecent photographs of children on June 13 and June 15 2015.
