Police have issued a warning as scooters and motorbikes continue to be targeted by thieves in Hucknall.

In the seven days to Thursday August 6 there were three raids on vehicles.

Between 7pm on Saturday 1 August and 11.00am on Sunday 2 August outside Wilkinson’s in Central Walk, Hucknall a front side window of a black Astra Estate car was forced. A tool box, fuel card and driving licence were stolen.

Inspector Nick Butler said: “Please ensure scooters and motorbikes are securely locked up and out of sight. If possible keep them chained up in a secure shed or garage.”

Car windows were smashed on Friday 31 July in Sherwood Park Industrial Estate, Annesley Woodhouse, and Portland Road, Hucknall.
