Cosmetics thief was caught on CCTV
A Pleasley woman has admitted stealing £200 of make up from Boots.
Hayley Joanne Thrall, 35 of Chesterfield Road North was seen on CCTV picking up Loreal items from the St Peter’s Retail Park store on May 26. A stock check valued the items at more than £400 but this was disputed.
Mansfield Magistrate heard on Wednesday that Thrall had a lengthy history of similar offences and her last offence had been dealt with by a conditional discharge last June. She had been having a difficult time with her partner and had just secured a place in a residential rehab centre. She was ordered to pay £200 compensation to Boots £40 costs and a court charge of £180.
