Mason Knight, of Fenton Drive in Bulwell, was stopped by officers on patrol in Radford at around 10am on 14 May. They recognised him as the same man who had made off from them when they went to speak to him about what he was doing in the area a couple of weeks before.
He again tried to ride away on his bicycle but was detained straight away, searched for drugs and a lock-knife was seized from his waistband.

He was subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply and possession of a bladed weapon and pleaded guilty to the offences at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on 15 May before being sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday (26 June 2020).
Police Constable Kulwinder Balzaz said who led the investigation said: "We're glad to have taken another knife and drug offender off the streets and I'd like to thank the officers on patrol for their tenacity and persistence having been suspicious of Knight when they first came across him. We take a zero tolerance approach to drug dealing on our streets as it fuels crime and preys on the most vulnerable people in our society."
