Hucknall thief frightened off by the dog he was trying to steal

The incident happened around 8pm on Tuesday, November 26 in Annesley Road.
The teenager, aged around 17 years-old, approached the white Husky cross, grabbed its lead and tried to make off with it.

Hide AdBut the dog instead refused to move and then bared its teeth at the would-be thief, causing him to run away.
Police are now appealing for information to find the man and also on other incidents of burglary, theft, robbery, criminal damage and anti-social behaviour reported in Hucknall.
At 6.50pm on Sunday, November 24, a friend visiting a property in Laughton Crescent on behalf of the tenant, arrived to find the front door open, bottles and cigarettes all over the floor, the television on and the front door key missing.
Between 4.30pm on Sunday, November 24 and 8.10am on Monday, November 25, an attempt was made to gain entry via a windown to Unit 4F on Blenheim Park Road.

Hide AdBetween 8.30pm on Wednesday, November 20 and 6.45am on Thursday, November 21, a window was smashed and a £5 note stolen from a white VW Polo parked on Jenny Burton Way.
Between 5.40pm and 7.05pm on Monday, November 25, an adult mountain bike, white with a red stripe and full suspension was stolen from outside the John Godber Centre on Ogle Street – it had been chained to the railings behind the bins.
Around 8.30pm on Friday, November 22 a man was mugged on Windmill Avenue by a white male, mid to late 20s, dirty ginger beard, wearing a black Tommy Hilfiger puffer coat, black tracksuit bottoms and a balaclava, who stole money, a Motorola E30 mobile phone and the victim’s black Zavetti Canada coat.
Between 5pm on Friday, November 22 and 5.30am on Saturday, November 23, a tyre was slashed on blue Ford Focus on Beardall Street.

Hide AdAt 7.10am on Saturday, November 23, the rear window was smashed on a red Ford Ka parked at the NET tram stop on Ashgate Road while the driver was still in it.
Between noon on Saturday, November 23 and noon on Sunday, November 24, a tyre was slashed on a grey Mini Cooper Sport on Montague Road.
Between 9am on Tuesday, November 26 and 11am on Wednesday, November 27, the paintwork was scratched on a black Fiat on Red Kite Close.
At 5.36pm on Sunday, November 24 a 14-year-old girl was playing in the street with friends outside her house in Kenbrook Road, when she was approached by a black female, around 40 years-old, with messy chin-length hair and wearing a long patterned cardigan and a shoulder bag, who came right in her face and accused her of throwing eggs and continued to rant at the girl and her mother when she came outside.

Hide AdAt 7.29pm on Tuesday, November 26 there was a report of four white males, all between 5ft 7in and 6ft, wearing dark clothing with the hoods up, smoking drugs on the stairs of flats in Goodall Crescent.
At 6.57am on Tuesday, November 26, three males, all around 20 years-old were kicking a door and throwing bricks at a window of a property on Farm Avenue.
