Murder-probe cops launch fresh plea to find body

Nottinghamshire Police investigating the murder of a 22-year-old man have made a fresh appeal for help finding his body.

Polish born Bogdan Nawrocki, who was living in Radford, was last seen on Sunday 5 January 2014. Despite a large scale search operation and numerous media appeals he has not been seen since.

Today (Friday 30 May 2014) a 39-year-old man, of no fixed address, was rearrested on suspicion of murder.

The search for Bogdan’s body continues and police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

DCI Tony Heydon, leading the investigation, said: “We launched a murder investigation at the end of April following forensic evidence discovered in a property in Radford.

“We have not stopped looking for Bogdan’s body – if anyone has any information about where it is I urge them to come forward.

“Now is the time to come forward and share that information with us.”
