Below is a list of some of the Nottinghamshire criminals jailed for long prison sentences in 2018.

They were all jailed for over five years for offences which include murder and sex offences. The list is not exhaustive.

A serial rapist was given an extended 42-year sentence after being found guilty of 24 sex attacks and a common assault. Stuart Hooper, 44, formerly of Chilwell, subjected two adults and two children to attacks over 20 years.
