Two teens arrested in Bulwell shooting probe

A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life after a warrant was executed at an address in Ranskill Gardens, Top Valley.
Officers also arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of assisting an offender after a second warrant was carried out at a property in Mulberry Gardens, Bulwell.

The arrests relate to a report of a double shooting in the Bulwell and Top Valley areas at around midnight on the evening of Tuesday June 16.
Two men were taken to hospital for treatment for single gunshot wounds to their legs after Nottinghamshire Police was called to Hucknall Road.
Both victims were subsequently discharged from hospital after receiving treatment for injuries that were neither life-threatening or life-altering.
The incident is believed to have happened inside a black Audi A8, which was recovered at the scene.

Detective Inspector Danny Johnstone, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: ““We understand that incidents like these are very concerning for the public but we are working tirelessly to piece together the circumstances of these incidents.
“Anyone with any information or dashcam footage that could aid us in their investigation should still make contact with us.
“The two suspects remain in police custody for questioning.”
