The next Mansfield Social Media Surgery will be held at Mansfield CVS, Community House, 36 Wood Street, Mansfield from 10am to 12pm on Tuesday 16th September.

This is a free advice drop-in session for community and voluntary groups, clubs, societies, faith groups and small arts organisations based in the Mansfield, Ashfield and North Nottinghamshire areas.

Meanwhile, Nottingham-based Community Accounting Plus, will be delivering a course on managing finances as well as a course on employment legislation, which will also take place at Community House.

The ‘Managing Your Finances in Hard Times’ course will take place from 9.30am-12.30pm on Tuesday 7th October.

The ‘Employment without Problems’ course will be held from 1.00pm-4.00pm on Thursday 9th October.

Mansfield CVS spokesman Kate Boughton said “It is great that we are able to offer these free courses as part of our autumn training programme.

“We recognise that community groups and organisations often don’t have a budget set aside for training, so both these courses will be of great benefit to many people, in particular to managers and trustees.”

Booking is essential, so to secure a place or for more information, contact Kate at Mansfield CVS at [email protected] or call 01623 651177.
