Dad made threats in custody argument

A Mansfield father has been spared jail after making threats to another man in a custody row.

Charles Jackson Hannah (30) of Milford Crescent, made the threats to the man between April and July this year, Mansfield Magistrates’ Court was told on Wednesday, 5th November.

The court was told that in one instance Hannah threatened to punch the man to death and also threatened to cause damage to his property.

The man’s windows were subsequently smashed, but nobody was charged due to a lack of witnesses, and Hannah also denied making the death threat. He was given a 12-month community order with supervision, ordered to complete a thinking skills course and issued with a restraining order.
