YOUNGSTERS can learn in one day how to save a life. That’s the message going out to schools in Hucknall from St John Ambulance.
For the organisation is offering first-aid training that enables pupils from the age of seven to master skills that can make the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
Traditionally run over six weeks, the ‘Young First Aider’ course brings training to life for youngsters through a series of scenarios they could meet in their daily lives.
Now the St John school liaison team, which includes Hucknall man Darren Allcock, is offering to run the classes in a single day.
